NBA: Detroit 106, Washington 93

WASHINGTON, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Richard Hamilton led a balanced Detroit attack with 20 points Wednesday and the Pistons won their 10th straight game, beating Washington 106-93.

Hamilton also had seven rebounds and nine assists.

Chauncey Billups and Rasheed Wallace contributed 16 points apiece and Jason Maxiell added 15 for the Pistons.

Caron Butler scored 22 points and Antawn Jamison 21 for the Wizards.
