BOSTON, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Kevin Garnett's jumper with 22 seconds left Wednesday secured Boston's 97-93 victory over Houston.
Garnett scored 26 points and the Celtics won their seventh straight. Paul Pierce added 19 points and Rajon Rondo had 13.

Houston fought back from a 20-point deficit, closing to within 94-91 on a jumper by Rafer Alston with 62 seconds remaining.
James Posey then missed a three-point attempt for Boston, but Ray Allen claimed the offensive rebound. That led to Garnett hitting his key jumper that gave Boston a five-point cushion.
Houston was led by 25 points off the bench by Bonzi Wells. Yao Ming scored 19.
