Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
PITTSBURGH, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Keith Benjamin hit 20 points and Tyrell Biggs and Sam Young 19 each Wednesday, pacing 13th-ranked Pittsburgh to a 96-75 win over Lafayette.
The Panthers (12-1) trailed by 2 points at halftime but went on runs of 15-2 and 17-3 in a dominant second half.
Tyrell Biggs hit nine of 11 shots, and Ronald Ramon claimed a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.
Matt Betley led the Leopards (8-5) with 20 points. Betley hit all six of his 3-point shots.
