COL FB: Auburn 23, Clemson 20

ATLANTA, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Kodi Burns' seven-yard touchdown run in overtime brought Auburn a 23-20 victory over Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Monday.

Burns gained 69 yards and the game-winning score on 13 carries. Brandon Cox completed 25 of 39 passes for 211 yards, a touchdown and one interception for Auburn (9-4), which won four of its last five to end the season.

Mario Fannin caught five passes for 53 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Cullen Harper threw for just 104 yards on 14-of-33 passing for Clemson (9-4), which lost two of three to finish the season.

C.J. Spiller rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown, and James Davis added 72 yards and a rushing score in defeat.
