NBA: Golden State 112, Houston 95

HOUSTON, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Baron Davis put 23 points on the board and added seven assists Monday, helping Golden State to a 112-95 victory against Houston.

Monta Ellis had 20 points and six rebounds for the Warriors, who won for the fourth time in five games. Al Harrington chipped in with 16 points and 11 boards, while Stephen Jackson had 18 points.

Rafer Alston had 22 points for the Rockets, who lost for the first time in three games. Bonzi Wells donated 17 points, and Yao Ming had 16 points and nine rebounds.
