COL BKB: Texas A&M 68, Rice 41

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- DeAndre Jordan managed 16 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks Monday, powering 12th-ranked Texas A&M to a 68-41 win over the Rice Owls.

Josh Carter connected on five of 14 shots for 16 points for the Aggies (13-1), who have won six straight, each by more than 20 points. Joseph Jones added 14 points and nine boards in the win.

The only player to reach double figures for the Owls was Lawrence Ghoram with 16 points in the loss. Rodney Foster and Patrick Britton each put in eight points for Rice (3-8).
