STANFORD, Calif., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Brook Lopez had 19 points and 12 rebounds Saturday to help No. 22 Stanford overcome pesky Fresno State 55-48.

Stanford held a slim 26-21 lead at the half and could not shake the Bulldogs fully until the late stages.

Anthony Goods scored 16 points, but was the only other player in double figures for the Cardinal (11-1), who have won seven in a row for their longest winning streak in four seasons.

Fresno got 16 points, four rebounds and four assists from Kevin Bell.

Eddie Miller had 10 points and five rebounds, but no other player scored in double figures for the Bulldogs (7-6), who were done in by a nine-minute scoreless stretch in the first half that included six turnovers.
