COL FB: Wake Forest 24, Connecticut 10

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Riley Skinner passed for 268 yards and a touchdown Saturday, guiding Wake Forest to a 24-10 come-from-behind win over Connecticut in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

Skinner completed 29 of 38 passes for the Demon Deacons (9-4). Kenneth Moore caught of them for 112 yards.

Josh Adams, ACC rookie of the year, rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Tyler Lorenzen completed 13 of 26 passes for 98 yards, and Donald Brown rushed for 78 yards for the Huskies (9-4).

The Demon Deacons trailed 10-0 at the half. Their first score came on an Adams 38-yard touchdown run up the middle with 12:44 left in the third quarter. They went ahead to stay when Skinner connected with tight end John Tereshinski in the corner of the end zone with 3:27 left in the quarter.
