CORAL GABLES, Fla., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Jack McClinton, James Dews and Raymond Hicks combined for 49 points Sunday when No. 22 Miami-Florida ripped North Carolina A&T 95-64.
The Hurricanes took any suspense out of the game early by scoring the first 17 points.
That lead swelled to 45-25 at the half and was never less than 20 points.
McClinton scored 12 of his 17 points in the opening 20 minutes.
Dews and Hicks scored 16 points apiece, Dwayne Collins 12 and Lance Hurdle 11 for the Hurricanes (12-0), who already have matched their win total from last season when they went 12-20.
N.C. A&T was led by Austin Ewing's 14 points.
Steven Rush added 13 and was the only other player in double digits for the Aggies (5-7), who have dropped three in a row.
They made only 10 of 22 free throws and committed 22 turnovers that led to 25 Miami points.
