Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
NASHVILLE, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- LenDale White rushed for 103 yards on 23 carries Sunday, helping the playoff-hopeful Tennessee Titans to a 10-6 win over the New York Jets.
Vince Young completed 12 of 23 passes for 166 yards and one interception for the Titans (9-6), and Roydell Williams caught four passes for 54 yards.
Rob Bironas was 1-0 on field goals.
Justin Gage also had three receptions for 48 yards and Chris Brown ran for a touchdown in the win.
Chad Pennington was 26-of-32 passing for 264 yards, one scoring pass to Jericho Cotchery and two interceptions for New York (3-12), which dropped its third straight.
Thomas Jones gained 58 yards on 21 carries and Cotchery caught eight passes for 152 yards and one touchdown in the loss.
