DENVER, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Wojtek Wolski scored 76 seconds into overtime Friday, giving Colorado a 4-3 decision over the New York Rangers.

New York turned the puck over in its own end and Jeff Finger quickly fired a blast toward the net. Henrik Lundqvist was able to knock it down, but it began to trickle between his pads and Wolski got there to tip it home before the New York goaltender could control it.

Milan Hejduk scored twice for Colorado, winners of four out of five. Peter Budaj made 20 saves.

Brendan Shanahan, Michal Rozsival and Marc Staal scored for the Rangers, who have lost four of five.

This was the first meeting of these teams in two years and their first in Denver in four seasons. New York has not beaten Colorado since New Year's Eve, 1998.
