MILWAUKEE, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Dominic James led with the way with 18 points and Marquette scored the game's first 10 points Friday en route to an 89-42 victory over Coppin State.
The 13th-ranked Warriors won their fifth straight and improved to 9-1. Jerel McNeal added 18 points, Lazar Hayward had 17 and Wesley Matthews 13.

Coppin State has lost seven in a row. The Eagles (3-9) were led by Brian Chestnut with 13.
Marquette coasted to a 43-24 lead at halftime. It was the fifth meeting of the teams and the Warriors have won them all.
