
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Trevor Booker's 18 points and 10 rebounds Friday led 15th-ranked Clemson's 90-74 victory over DePaul at the San Juan Shootout.
The Tigers faced a 41-40 halftime deficit, but quickly seized control with a 9-0 run opening the second half.
They outscored DePaul 50-33 in the second.
During the 9-0 run, freshman guard Demontez Stitt scored seven straight points.
Cliff Hammonds scored 15 points, Stitt 14 and three others reached double figures, including reserve guard Terence Oglesby, who scored 12 by sinking 4 of 6 three-pointers.
Unbeaten Clemson improved 10-0 with its second straight rout.
It beat Puerto Rico-Mayaguez 90-73 Thursday.
DePaul got 27 points and five rebounds from guard Draelon Burns.
Karron Clarke scored 14 points, and Dar Tucker added 13 points and four rebounds for the Blue Demons (2-7), whose losing streak grew to five games in a row.
It was the first-ever meeting between the schools.
