PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Philadelphia linebacker Takeo Spikes tore his rotator cuff Sunday in the Eagles' 10-6 win at Dallas.

Eagles Coach Andy Reid said Spikes had an MRI Monday morning to detail the extent of the injury. Reid did not rule Spikes out for the Eagles' game at New Orleans Sunday because the injury might be manageable enough for him to play.

Spikes is second on the team in tackles with 86, 64 of them solo, and has one sack. He also is one of many Eagles players with injury problems.
