NFL: Green Bay 33, St. Louis 14

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Brett Favre threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns Sunday, setting a career passing record while leading Green Bay over the St. Louis Rams 33-14.

Favre completed 19 of 30 passes with two interceptions as he surpassed Dan Marino for the NFL's all-time record for most career passing yards. He needed 184 yards to break Marino's mark of 61,361at the start of the contest.

Donald Driver had five catches for 80 yards and Greg Jennings caught four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown for the Packers (12-2), who have won 16 of their past 18 games.

St. Louis quarterback Marc Bulger returned after missing two weeks due to a concussion to go 20-of-39 passing for 219 yards, a touchdown and two picks.

Steven Jackson carried the ball 24 times for 143 yards and a touchdown for the Rams (3-11).
