INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Robbie Hummel scored 15 points Saturday as Purdue beat 20th-ranked Louisville 67-59 and denied Rick Pitino his 500th career coaching victory.
Boilermakers (6-2) scored in double-digits in the John Wooden Tradition. Chris Kramer had 14 points, Keaton Grant had 12 and Scott Martin 11.
Terrence Williams led the Cardinals (5-3) with 17 points and nine rebounds. Jerry Smith added 13 points, Edgar Sosa 11 and Will Scott 10.
