COL BKB: Memphis 65, Mid Tennessee St. 41

NASHVILLE, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Joey Dorsey had 11 points and 12 rebounds Saturday to lead second-ranked Memphis to a 65-41 victory over Middle Tennessee State.

Robert Dozier and Shawn Taggart also had 11 points each for Memphis (8-0), which is off to its best start in more than a decade. The Tigers haven't begun a season at 8-0 since the 1995-96 season.

No player for Middle Tennessee scored in double-figures. Demetrius Green and Donaries Hair each scored eight for the Blue Raiders (3-6).
