NHL: Dallas 4, Los Angeles 1

DALLAS, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Mike Ribeiro scored twice and assisted on Dallas' other two goals Thursday, boosting the Stars to a 4-1 decision over Los Angeles.

The Kings lost in Dallas for the seventh straight time.

Antti Miettinen and Brendan Morrow scored for the Stars and Marty Turco made 26 saves.

Los Angeles' only goal came from Tom Preissing. The Kings have lost their last two games by a combined score of 10-4.

Ribeiro scored on a tip-in with 8:08 left in the opening period and Morrow scored the first of Dallas' three second-period goals on the power play 2:40 into the stanza.

Miettinen scored 4:23 later and when Ribeiro made it 4-0 with 5:04 left in the period the Kings replaced goaltender Jonathan Quick with Jean-Sebastien Aubin.

The four-point game was the third of Ribeiro's career.
