CHICAGO, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Martin Havlat's two goals helped Chicago end a season-worst four-game losing streak Wednesday with a 6-3 win over Los Angeles.

Patrick Sharp and Jonathan Toews added a goal and two assists for the Blackhawks. Nikolai Khabibulin made 25 saves.

The Blackhawks scored three times on nine shots against Jean-Sebastien Aubin, who was then replaced by Jonathan Quick.

Tuomo Ruutu scored 3:11 into the game, and late in the first period Havlat and Duncan Keith scored 34 seconds apart -- chasing Aubin from the game.

Havlat added a power-play goal early in the second.

Chicago had not recorded a point in December prior to this game. The Kings piled up 60 penalty minutes in the contest, 32 more than their previous season high.
