Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

NEW YORK, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Portland's Brandon Roy and Atlanta's Josh Smith were selected the NBA players of the week, the league announced Monday.
Roy paced the Trail Blazers to a 3-0 week by averaging 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists per games. His nine assists and eight defensive rebounds Dec. 9 against Milwaukee marked career highs for Roy.
Atlanta went 3-1 last week behind Smith, who averaged 22 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.3 blocks a game. He had 28 points, seven rebounds and an NBA season high seven blocked shots against Minnesota on Dec. 6.
