
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Trent Edwards threw four touchdowns Sunday, guiding the Buffalo Bills to a 38-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Edwards, who only had one touchdown pass entering the game, completed 11 of 23 passes for 165 yards on the day. He also threw one interception and improved to 5-1 as a starter in his rookie season.
Marshawn Lynch ran for 107 yards on 23 carries and Fred Jackson finished with 115 rushing yards on just 15 attempts for Buffalo (7-6), which has won six of its last eight games.
John Beck started at quarterback for Miami, but was quickly taken out after a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. He went 1-of-2 passing for six yards.
Cleo Lemon replaced Beck, throwing for 241 yards on 22-of-42 passing with two interceptions. He also fumbled once for the winless Dolphins (0-13).
