HOUSTON, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Damion James had 18 points and 17 rebounds Saturday to lead the fifth-ranked Texas Longhorns in an 80-54 romp over the Rice Owls.

D.J. Augustin and A.J. Abrams also scored 18 points each. The Longhorns (9-0) are undefeated through nine games for the first time since the 1981-82 season, when they started 14-0.

Rodney Foster scored 13 points and Patrick Britton had 11 to lead Rice (2-6).
