SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Raymar Morgan scored 17 points Saturday, propelling 10th-ranked Michigan State to a 68-61 win over 22nd-ranked Brigham Young.
Drew Neitzel added 15 points, and Goran Suton 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Spartans (8-1), who have won five straight games.

Trent Plaisted scored 19 points for the Cougars (7-2), whose only other loss came to top-ranked North Carolina two Saturdays ago. Sam Burgess added 15 points for BYU.
The Spartans trailed at halftime, but opened the second half with a 14-3 surge.
