DENVER, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Stokley Saturday signed a three-year contract extension through the 2010 season.

No details were disclosed.

Stokley, 31, has four touchdowns on 39 receptions for 614 yards this season, proving a key target for quarterback Jay Cutler. His playing time increased when No. 1 receiver Javon Walker was sidelined by a knee injury and missed seven games.

Stokley signed a one-year contract in March as a free agent, joining the Broncos after four years with Indianapolis.

The Lafayette, La., native, who won Super Bowl rings with Baltimore and Indianapolis, owns the second-highest first down percentage on receptions in the NFL this season at 84.6 percent (33 of 39).
