Lickliter leads by 5 with a round to go

WINTER GARDEN, Fla., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Frank Lickliter shot a 4-under-par 68 Sunday and stretched his lead to five shots in the PGA Tour qualifying tournament in Florida.

The players have completed five of six rounds in the Q-school competition, with Lickliter -- a two-time tour winner -- leading all the way. He had been up by three shots after the fourth round and led by nine earlier in the tournament.

The top 25 finishers and ties will get tour cards for 2008.

Lickliter was 28-under-par at 332. Second-place was held by Brett Rumford (68) at 23-under 337, and Chris Stroud (64) was third at 22-under 338.
