NHL: St. Louis 3, Chicago 1

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- D.J. King's unassisted second-period goal turned out to be the game-winner Saturday night, as the St. Louis Blues beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1.

Lee Stempniak and Mike Johnson also scored and Hannu Toivonen stopped 17 shots for the Blues, who won their sixth straight home game and their fourth out of five overall.

Robert Lang scored and Patrick Lalime let in three goals on 26 shots for the Blackhawks, who had won two straight coming into the game.
