NHL: Nashville 5, Montreal 4 (SO)

MONTREAL, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Radek Bonk tied the game and then scored in a shootout Saturday in the Nashville Predators' 5-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

The game-tying shot came on the power play with 47 seconds left in regulation and, after a scoreless overtime session, Bonk and Martin Erat scored in the shootout, topping a lone goal by Montreal's Saku Koivu.

David Legwand had a goal and two assists for the Predators, who have won six of their last nine games.

Guillaume Latendresse had two goals for Montreal, which has dropped five of its last seven.
