Tommie Harris' wife dies

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- The Dallas Stars fell behind early but went on to beat Philadelphia 4-1 Saturday with goals by Jeff Halpern, Antti Miettinen, Mike Ribeiro and Jussi Jokinen.
The Flyers went ahead 1-0 41 seconds into the game on a goal by Randy Jones, and then Dallas took command.
Halpern tied it before the period ended and Jokinen sent the Stars ahead early in the second period. Miettinen and Ribeiro notched the last two goals on power plays later in the period.
Marty Turco had 18 save for the Stars.
