PHOENIX, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Two free throws by Steve Nash with four seconds left Friday night ended Orlando's comeback bid and gave Phoenix a 110-106 win over the Magic.
The Suns opened a 15-point lead after one period and spent the rest of the night trying to fight off Orlando.
Orlando closed within one with 12 seconds left on two free throws by Rashard Lewis, after which Shawn Marion could make only one of two from the line for the Suns.
That left the Magic trailing by two, and Lewis tried and failed on a three-pointer with nine seconds left. Raja Bell got the defensive rebound for the Suns and fed the ball to Nash, who was fouled by J.J. Redick.
Nash hit them both as the Suns ended their first two-game losing streak of the season. Orlando had a four-game winning streak halted.
Phoenix had six players with at least 15 points, led by 20 from Bell and 19 from Amare Stoudemire.
Dwight Howard scored 30 for Orlando.
