COL BKB: Pitt 78, Toledo 52

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh's Keith Benjamin, Sam Young and Mike Cook led a 20-6 second-half run Saturday and the 11th-ranked Panthers went on to crush Toledo 78-52.

Toledo trailed by just six points before the Panthers broke it open early in the half. Benjamin hit a pair of three-pointers, and Young and Cook each scored four points during the spurt.

Young finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Panthers (7-0).

Tyrone Kent topped the scoring for Toledo (1-6) with 22 points. The Rockets have dropped five straight games since winning their season-opener against Missouri State.
