Tyler Kennedy and Evgeni Malkin also scored for the Penguins, and Marc-Andre Fleury made 22 saves.

Mike Ribeiro scored the Stars' goal.

It took only 24 seconds for Crosby to score the game's first goal. He faked a move behind the net and then tucked the puck past goaltender Mike Smith as he skated past the post.

The Penguins have beaten Dallas in four of their last five meetings.
