COL BKB: Oregon 80, Kansas St. 77 (OT)

MANHATTAN, Kan., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Tajuan Porter made the key shots in overtime Thursday night as No. 17 Oregon held on to defeat Kansas State 80-77.

Porter made the go-ahead jumper with 2:38 remaining in the extra period, and his free throw with 56 seconds to play made it a three-point game. He scored 14 points in helping the Ducks improve to 6-1.

Bryce Taylor scored 18 for Oregon and Joevan Catron added 15.

Kansas State (5-2) had won its previous two games. Freshman Michael Beasley led the Wildcats with 24 points and 12 rebounds.

Beasley put Kansas State in front by a point with 22 seconds left in regulation, but Jacob Pullen made one of two free throws to force overtime.
