WINTER GARDEN, Fla., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Frank Lickliter shot a second straight 62 Thursday for a nine-stroke lead one-third of the way through the PGA Tour's qualifying tournament in Florida.

The top 25 finishers in the six-round competition will earn tour cards for 2008.

Lickliter, a two-time tour winner, played his first two rounds at the Crooked Cat and Panther Lake courses at Orange County National Golf Center, and broke both course records.

He was at 20-under-par 124. His closest pursuers were Brandon De Jonge and Jason Allred, both at 11-under-par 133.

Alejandro Canizares, who also shot 62, was tied at 10-under with Jim McGovern (66) and Travis Perkins (67).
