COL BKB: Texas A&M 76, Alabama 63

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Donald Sloan delivered 15 points and eight assists Wednesday as No. 9 Texas A&M fought off Alabama 76-63.

The Aggies are unbeaten in seven games. They also got 14 points from Dominique Kirk and 13 from Josh Carter.

Alabama (3-2) was paced by 19 each from Alonzo Gee and Richard Hendrix.

The Aggies owned a three-point lead when Carter hit a three-pointer with 10:52 to play. That ignited a run that lifted Texas A&M's lead to as many as 17 points.

Texas A&M led by nine at halftime, but Alabama opened the second period on a 9-2 run.
