COL BKB: Michigan St. 81, N.C. State 58

EAST LANSING, Mich., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Drew Neitzel led a balanced attack with 17 points Wednesday, helping carry No. 13 Michigan State past North Carolina State 81-58.

The game was part of the Big Ten-ACC Challenge.

Goran Suton added 16 points with a dozen rebounds and Raymar Morgan chipped in 15. Michigan State (5-1) has won 30 straight home games against non-conference opponents, the sixth longest active streak in the country.

The Spartans opened the game with a 15-5 run and owned as much as a 22-point lead in the first half.

The Wolfpack (4-2) was paced by J.J. Hickson with 21 points.

This was their first meeting since North Carolina State eliminated Michigan State in the opening round of the 2002 NCAA Tournament.
