MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson scored 25 points Saturday night as the Atlanta Hawks overcame a 21-point deficit to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 94-87.
The Timberwolves led 63-45 at halftime before they were done in by a 12-point third quarter -- and followed that with a 12-point fourth quarter.
Atlanta trailed 75-64 heading into the fourth, but then outscored Minnesota 30-12 in the fourth to post its second straight win in a three-game road swing.
The Hawks got 16 points and eight rebounds from Josh Smith, 14 points and seven rebounds from Josh Childress, 13 points from Tyronn Lue, and 10 points and five rebounds from Marvin Williams.
Minnesota was led by Al Jefferson's 23 points and 16 rebounds. Marko Jaric had 20 points, three rebounds and six assists.
Antoine Walker scored 12 points, and Rashard McCants added 11 points, two rebounds and two assists for the Timberwolves, who have lost 10 of 11 games this season.
