ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Gavin Grant sank 2-of-3 free throws with 0.4 seconds remaining Sunday night as North Carolina State upset 19th-ranked Villanova 69-68.

The victory gave the Wolfpack the title at the Old Spice college basketball classic in Orlando, Fla.

In a wild finish, Villanova took a 68-67 lead with six seconds remaining when Dante Cunningham sank a follow-up shot on an offensive rebound following Corey Stokes' missed a lay-up. Cunningham then fouled Grant on a three-point attempt to set the stage for his last-second heroics.

N.C. State led 38-33 at the break and neither team ever held a double-digit lead.

Courtney Fells led State with 21 points and five rebounds. Grant and J.J. Hickson scored 15 points apiece as the Wolfpack (4-1) won their third straight contest.

Villanova was led by reserve Corey Fisher's 21 points. Cunningham had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Scottie Reynolds scored 10 points, while Casiem Drummond added nine points and 17 rebounds for the previously unbeaten Wildcats (4-1).
