PITTSBURGH, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 28 shots he faced Saturday night as the Pittsburgh Penguins blanked the Atlanta Thrashers 5-0 for their second straight victory.

It was Fleury's second shutout this season. The only goal he needed was scored by Jordan Staal at 3:38 of the first period.

The other goals were scored by Ryan Malone (power play) and Colby Armstrong in the second, and Sydney Crosby (power play) and Ryan Whitney in the third.

Sergei Gonchar had three assists, and both Tyler Kennedy and Gary Roberts had two assists for the Penguins, who have won two straight after losing six of seven.

Goalie Ondrej Pavelec gave up five goals on 34 shots for the Thrashers, who have suffered back-to-back shutout losses after a four-game winning streak.

On the power play, Pittsburgh went 2-for-3, and Atlanta failed to score on any of its three opportunities.
