PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Kai Forbath kicked three field goals, including a career-long 54-yarder, Saturday as UCLA shut out 10th-ranked Oregon, 16-0.

Chris Markey ran for 91 yards and Craig Sheppard ran for 49 yards and the game's only touchdown for UCLA (6-5, 5-3 PAC-10). Bruins quarterback Ben Olson returned to the lineup for the first time since injuring his knee in a game Oct. 6.

Oregon (8-3, 5-3) had Brady Leaf start at quarterback in place of Dennis Dixon, whose season ended Nov. 15 with an ACL injury at Arizona.

Redshirt freshmen Cody Kempt and Justin Roper also saw action at quarterback for Oregon. Together, they threw for 105 yards on 11-of-39 passing, with three interceptions.

The shutout was the Ducks' first since 1985.
