NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- D.J. Augustin had 23 points and Connor Atchley had 22 points and 14 rebounds Saturday as No. 16 Texas beat No. 7 Tennessee 97-78 to win the Legends Classic.
A.J. Abrams and Justin Mason added 21 points for the Longhorns (5-0).
Chris Lofton scored 18 points off the bench for Tennessee (5-1), which edged West Virginia 74-72 Friday to advance to the title game. JuJuan Smith added 13 points.
