COL BKB: Butler 84, Virginia Tech 78 (OT)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Pete Campbell's 26 points and Mike Green's overtime shooting helped No. 23 Butler defeat Virginia Tech 84-78 Friday in the Great Alaska Shootout semifinals.

Green hit 12 of his 23 points in overtime and Butler remained unbeaten after five games this season.

A.J. Graves added 17 points and six assists for the winners.

Jeff Allen scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds and A.D. Vassallo had 19 points for the Hokies (2-1).
