NHL: New Jersey 3, Atlanta 0

ATLANTA, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- The New Jersey Devils won their third straight game on a four-game road trip Friday, shutting down the Atlanta Thrashers 3-0.

The loss ended a four-game win streak for Atlanta.

Martin Brodeur made 22 saves for his first shutout of the season.

Rod Pelley, Paul Martin and Jay Pandolfo scored goals and Jamie Langenbrunner had three assists.

Atlanta goalie Johan Hedberg turned back 26 shots.
