COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Stephen McGee threw for three touchdowns and ran for a fourth Friday afternoon as unranked Texas A&M upset 11th-ranked archrival Texas 38-30.
McGee went 25-for-36 passing for 362 yards. He was intercepted twice and scored on a six-yard third-quarter run.
Mike Goodson scored twice and gained 82 yards on six catches, and added 72 yards rushing on 12 carries.
Jorvorskie Lane gained 69 yards on 18 carries for the Aggies (7-5, 4-4 Big 12), who ended a three-game losing streak but likely did not save the job of beleaguered head coach Dennis Franchione.
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy went 17-for-32 for 229 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Jamaal Charles scored once on 17 attempts for 92 yards and added 81 yards on four receptions.
Chris Ogbonnaya scored once, while McCoy ran for 24 yards on nine carries for the Longhorns (9-3, 5-3), who had a five-game winning streak snapped.
The defeat ended the Longhorns' chances of qualifying the Big 12 championship game.
