ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- The Denver Broncos brought back fullback Kyle Johnson Thursday, Coach Mike Shanahan announced.

The 6-2, 242-pound Johnson was with the Broncos from 2002 to 2006 but was waived early this season.

Johnson -- who played at Syracuse in college and was drafted in the fifth round by Carolina before joining the Denver team in 2002 -- has played in 44 NFL games, starting in 24 of them. He caught eight touchdown passes and ran for a score.

Shanahan also announced that the team waived guard Isaac Snell.
