IRVING, Texas, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton may not play in Thursday's Thanksgiving game against the New York Jets.
Crayton missed practice Tuesday with a sprained ankle and Cowboys Coach Wade Phillips questioned whether he would recover in time for the Jets game.
Crayton suffered the injury in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Washington Redskins. He finished the game, but the ankle kept him out of practice. Phillips indicated Tuesday that Crayton might be ready in a regular week, but the Thursday game might prevent him from playing.
Crayton has 33 receptions for 482 yards and five touchdowns for the Cowboys. This is the fourth season in the NFL, all with the Cowboys, for the seventh-round pick in the 2004 draft out of Northwestern Oklahoma State.
