NFL: St. Louis 13, San Francisco 9

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Marc Bulger was 21-of-32 passing for 155 yards and the game's only touchdown Sunday afternoon, as the St. Louis Rams beat San Francisco, 13-9.

Torry Holt, who had seven receptions for 55 yards, caught the touchdown, as the Rams won their second game in a row after losing the first eight games of the season. Stephen Jackson ran 23 times for 92 yards, and Jeff Wilkins made two field goals in the victory.

Trent Dilfer replaced quarterback Alex Smith, who is out with a sore shoulder, and went 20-for-42 for 231 yards.

Joe Nedney was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts for the 49ers (2-8), who lost their eighth in a row.
