COL FB: Boston College 20, Clemson 17

CLEMSON, S.C., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Matt Ryan threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Rich Gunnell with 1:46 left Saturday to give No. 18 Boston College a 20-17 win over No. 16 Clemson.

Ryan was 31-of-47 passing for 315 yards for the Eagles (9-2, 5-2 ACC), who clinched the ACC's Atlantic Division title.

BC closes out its season next Saturday against Miami-Florida, and then will face the winner of the Coastal Division in the ACC championship game in Jacksonville, Fla., Dec. 1.

Andre Callender had 11 receptions for 92 yards and rushed for 75 yards on 22 carries. Gunnell had 82 yards on five receptions, and James McCluskey scored a fourth-quarter touchdown.

Cullen Harper was 26-of-40 passing for 226 yards for the Tigers (8-3, 5-3), who had a four-game win streak end. Harper also rushed for a touchdown.
