LAWRENCE, Kan., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Todd Reesing completed 21 of 26 passes for 253 yards and four touchdowns Saturday, propelling fourth-ranked Kansas to a 45-7 victory over Iowa State.
Reesing completed all but one of his 18 pass attempts in the first half when the Jayhawks built a 28-7 lead. Reesing was playing on a sore ankle that limited his mobility and the Kansas quarterback sat out the fourth quarter.
Reesing's backup, Kerry Meie, was 9-for-9 passing for 101 yards and a touchdown after catching three passes for 41 yards and a TD as a wide receiver. Jake Sharp and Brandon McAnderson combined rushing for 153 yards on 24 carries.
The Jayhawks (11-0, 7-0 Big 12) will face sixth-ranked Missouri in Kansas City next Saturday to determine the Big 12 North champion.
Bret Meyer was 16-for-28 for 103 yards passing for Iowa State (3-9, 2-6), while Austen Arnaud completed 8 of 15 for 79 yards.
