CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Former major league pitcher Rick Rhoden and Scott Masingill opened with 4-under 68s Tuesday to share the lead at the Champions Qualifying Tournament.
Rhoden and Masingill hold a one-stroke lead over Chris Dachisen, Perry Arthur, Thomas E. Jones and Robert Thompson.

Rhoden, 54, played for four major league baseball teams.
Kirk Hanefeld, who played in 11 Champions Tour events in 2007, and Canadian Tour regular Craig Marseilles are among six players tied for seventh at 2-under 70. The other four are Jim Chancey, Keith Gockenbach, Chris Tucker and Ralph West.
There are 13 players including tied for 13th at 1-under 71.
