LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Anze Kopitar scored his second goal of the contest in overtime Saturday night, as the Los Angeles Kings rallied to beat Dallas, 6-5.
Kopitar's second goal of the game, and seventh of the season, helped the Kings break a nine-game losing streak against Dallas.
LA scored five times in the third period -- with Dustin Brown, Scott Thornton, Alexander Frolov, Kopitar and Ladislav Nagy (power play) doing the honors.
Frolov and Lubomir Visnovsky both had two assists, while Kings goaltenders Jason LaBarbera and Jean-Sebastien Aubin combined to give up five goals on 25 shots.
Dallas got one goal apiece from Brenden Morrow (power play), Mike Ribeiro, Chris Conner, Jeff Halpern and Mike Modano, whose power play tally created a 5-5 tie at 18:55 of the third.
Goaltender Marty Turco yielded six goals on 34 shots for the Stars, who blew a 4-0 second period lead and lost the final two games on a four-game road swing.
